PRODUCT QUALITY ASSURANCE
The Assurance of safety of food exported from New Zealand is proved by the
ministry for primary industries (MPI), Which sets standards and ensures compliance all meat and
dairy products exports carry a sanitary certificate issued by MPI, Which confirms that companies
are complying with the public health and hygiene requirement of the country where the product is
exported. New Zealand meat and dairy processors have embraced the principles of HACCP(HAZZARD
ANALYSIS CONTROL POINTS).
